Hey all,
I’ve been looking forward to getting this email series started and I’d like to thank you - truly - for being a newsletter subscriber. This is worth it’s own email, but privacy and security and protection have become very important to us over these past few years. Did I ever tell you about the time that we had a man stop by our local (and very small) post office looking for our house? He wanted to visit us (unannounced and uninvited). The post office called us (they know us… like I said, it’s very small) and asked if we wanted them to release our address to these strangers. “NO! No, thank you Bonnie. Please send them along their merry way…”. It’s not that we don’t love meeting and corresponding with our readers/viewers/followers. It’s that we have children and privacy is very important to us. Stuart and I are actually (shockingly?) exceptionally private people. And even though we’re asked lots of questions (some way too personal) the blog has never felt like the right place to answer these questions. Half of the questions I redirect back to the sender: take it to your pastor! Or a therapist. Someone far more qualified than us, please. Others I am happy to answer and like I said, am thankful to have a place where that feels private and appropriate and beneficial. These q&a emails will be sent to our paid-newsletter subscribers.
