🍂Your November PRINTABLE Menu🍂 (+ a free master dough workshop)
10-days of breakfast, lunch, and dinner planned for you
Hello my friends,
Have you ever heard the saying - perfectionism is the death of progress?
It’s rarely more true than in the kitchen. Picture-perfect ideas of what should be on our table often move us to inaction. If I can’t do it like _________ then I won’t do it at all.
Let me be so bold - STOP.
Kicking aside perfectionism is exactly why I’m teaching a free workshop on “master dough” this coming Friday. If you haven’t registered yet, I’d strongly encourage you to!
Yes, I love sourdough.
Yes, I love long-fermented breads.
Yes, I love nutrient-dense meals.
You know what else I love? Having food that’s better than take-out or processed foods on my table. Food that’s a step in the right direction, food that’s freshly baked, and food that makes it possible to actually put meals on the table. Food that demonstrates progress over perfection.
If you’re currently stuck in bread-product overwhelm, be it the price of breads products at the store, the laundry-list of horrible ingredients added to your standard store-bought items, or just overwhelm in general by the steps, time, or skill required to make your own bread products at home, this workshop is for you. And it’s free. A recording will be sent out to everyone who registers, even if you can’t make it live.
Use this “master dough” to make the sausage rolls and grinder flatbreads featured in this months menu. You can also easily use it to make the focaccia and an artisan loaf to have alongside soups. Even sandwich bread! I hope you feel inspired by the master-dough to get in the kitchen this month and put some beautiful nourishment on the table for yourself and your friends and family. Here’s 10-days of breakfast, lunch, and dinner to inspire your table in the coming weeks. Enjoy.
As a quick reminder, we offer our $7/month paid newsletter supporters two menus each month.
Each printable menu will cover 10-days worth of seasonal meals and will include notes on when to mix sourdough, soak beans, etc. Recipes are linked to newsletters, blog posts, or YouTube videos, as applicable.
Also worth noting, every Cooking Community member also gets access to our menus over on our app. So whether you support The Elliot Homestead here or there, we’ve got you covered. Over in our Cooking Community, we offer 5 new recipes each month, along with instructional cooking videos for each one and an exclusive, private online social community of home-cooks.
