What to make when you don't feel like cooking...
3 delicious summer recipes, no cooking or baking actually required
Hello my friends,
Hold the phone…. please don’t skip over this part!
Stuart and I have become intensely grateful for those of you who are supporting our writing and adventures here on Substack. For us, it feels quite humbling to know that our content is valuable enough to you for you to financially support our efforts. I hope the $5/month that our paid newsletter supporters spend each month is like buying yourself a nice latte and tucking in with some high-quality, no-ad content that brings beauty and value to your days. With your $5/month support, you literally allow us to nurture our family. I pray that our content, in turn, nurtures yours.
The monthly menus we’ve shared here on Substack since January 2024 have become quite popular (based on your comments, likes, shares, and subscriptions, that is) and we are continually working to create a noise in the madness-of-the-internet that you actually deem worth listening to.
So here’s our new go at offering you something of value. A trio of recipes, curated to go well together and brought to your inbox.
Should it be bi-weekly? Monthly? What do you think? Let us know in the comments!
Each recipe is listed below, along with a photograph and a printable PDF of the recipe. This week’s recipes are curated to give you something delicious to eat without even really turning on the stove or oven. It’s a perfect little gathering of recipes for August and one I think you’ll find yourself going back to again and again.
(Also worth noting, every Cooking Community member get access to it all. So whether you support The Elliot Homestead here or there, we’ve got you covered. Over in our Cooking Community, we offer 5 new recipes each month, along with instructional cooking videos for each one and an exclusive, private online social community of home-cooks.)
