Small harvest from your garden? Make this.
I’ve been there. Facing down a basket of odds and ends from the garden with a deep uncertainty about what to do with it.
As I explain in the video, not everyone has a large garden to pull mountains of produce from. Sometimes a little bit here, a little bit there is all we have.
Homemade Giardinera is the very best thing I’ve found to do with it. It’s easy and very simple to put together. Just a few guidelines and you’re off to the food-preserving races. Bonus: you can easily make this from store bought produce or just use up leftover produce from your refrigerator.

If you choose to water can your giardinera, it can be stored in your pantry at room temperature. If you chose (like I do in the video) to not to do that, just store it in your refrigerator for safe keeping, eating bits here and there as you like.
