I had it on my heart to get an AGA stove...a cottage theme for our new home was hidden in my heart, but I knew that finding one of these heirloom pieces was going to prove difficult in the states...

But. We found one. $3,500 for all the pieces...and no manual on how to put it together.

My incredible husband scoured the internet and got the heartbeat of our home installed and fired up!

It’s dreamy. And I get choked up with gratitude as I cook on her.

You’re 100% right. Hard to wait, but WORTH THE WAIT.

And...antiquing in a sea of VHS Disney movies is definitely worthy of a chuckle.

🤣

Oh my this timing is perfect! My plan is to do the same behind our stove. I have my grandmas old delft chandelier in my kitchen and want to bring a bit more of the look in with tile. I never thought to make a removable panel! This idea takes so much of the worry away.
