While the world grows larger and more complex, I remain an average person with an average IQ doing very average activities.
I am continually humbled by how much I don’t know. I tend to my little gardens, take care of my home, raise my children, and pursue that which is worthy of attention.
I write this in the hopes that many of you are a bit like me: passionately involved with the world that’s close around you… tending to the details and needs of an average, ordinary life.
I invited you to share your questions with me on Instagram, and today I want to answer those and give you a more intimate look into the choices, decisions, intentions, and inner workings of our very average life.
Questions like:
“Will you be sharing more dairy-free meals?” and
“How do you ‘let them be bored?’” and
“What’s the best olive oil to use?”
Questions are a great connector — a bridge between someone’s past knowledge or wisdom and the eager anticipation of what lies ahead. They’re a connector between those who have been there and those who hope to be. While, Lord willing, we still have a lot of our own questions ahead of us, I’m grateful to offer you this peek into the pieces of our life that don’t always make it into our YouTube videos or blog posts.
Pour a cuppa… let’s get to it!
