Here’s a picture of something pretty before I flood the rest of this newsletter with very ugly pictures of roughed in walls. Forgive me in advance:

We are marching forward in our bedroom/bathroom renovation of our 1909 orchard-cottage turned family home, which I suppose, is the most important part. So long as we’re moving forward, I’m quite happy to watch the progress being made for a few hours each day. (If you missed demo day, you can catch up on our project right here).
To be honest, I’m slightly relieved at the pace at which the 3-man crew is working. It’s allowed me to keep up mentally with the pace of the project. I told myself, initially, that I would be very careful to not miss any opportunities in the project. For good lighting, for good architectural elements, for character.
