Have you ever seen a pecan farm? When we lived in Southern Alabama, our area was saturated with them. Pecan trees can grow so large… so tall! I fell in love with fresh pecans while we lived there.
So let’s talk about walnuts instead - ha!
Walnuts reign supreme in our 7b climate here in Central Washington, which means that we’ll be utilizing them for our candied Christmas nuts. By all means, use what you have! Almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, or the gorgeous pecan. Any will do just fine.
This is not only a wonderful treat to have out on your counter during the cold, winter months but it also makes a wonderful gift. Watch till the end of the video to see how I package and share mine.
I hope you enjoy! If you don’t already, would you please subscribe to our YouTube channel? It helps us reach into new homesteading hearts all around the world.
I hope these nuts bring your kitchen wonderful smells, your tastebuds wonderful pleasure, and your heart a bit of joy.
Cheers,
Shaye
