My friend Natali once said that what we endure in life is either a good time now or a good story later.
When we were told last week that the 350 tile (read: 650 square feet) we ordered to cover the floor turned out instead to be 350 square feet, I had to “goosefrahbah” my way through the disappointment.
There are real problems in the world. Back ordered tile is not one of them.
Still, I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that a YouTube video on how to properly make a bed made me cry this past weekend. Is it a world changing problem? No. But am I tired of sleeping on the less-than-private living room floor and having my clothes shoved in a cardboard box? Yes. Six weeks has morphed into six months and I think most married couples with four children would be sharing in our whoa is me attitude towards the situation.
