Christmas Cottage Full Tour

and a joy that surpasses understanding

Hello my friends,

I know I’m not old yet, but even still, I’ve found myself reflecting a lot - as one does when time continues to pass. Somehow, each Christmas feels more special than the one before. Year upon year, a few new ornaments get added to the family tree and the kids get a bit more wise to our Christmas antics.

(Like keeping a special stash of snacks for just Stuart and I…)

I am grateful that each moment - even the ones filled with chaos, dirty dishes, and bickering - feel somehow joyous and blessed. We are held together be a great God who has granted us hearts of thankfulness despite our imperfections.

So while some may see plenty of imperfections in our little cottage, I see a home built upon a firm foundation where there is love, life, and a never-ending joy, one that surpasses all human understanding, that can only be found in our Lord, Jesus Christ.
