Hi. Shaye here.
My older sister, Brynn, is also the Head of Operations (I just made that title up) for our Cooking Community. We met at our new (teeny tiny) office last week and organized all our bubble wrap, gift cards, boxes, recipe cards, art frames, and labels. I'll admit - not the prettiest part of the job. But she faithfully manages all of it each month, shipping out recipes cards and sourdough starters like a boss.
While we were meeting, over a double tall vanilla latte that she very kindly brought me, we decided it was time that more people got their hands on some of our Cooking Community recipe cards.
So we decided to give them to new members for free.
They're so beautiful. The paper is oh-la-la. They're wipeable. They have an area to write "notes" on with a Sharpie if you adapt the recipe in any way. I'm biased, but they really are special.
ANYWAY. Perhaps it was the caffeine kicking in, or the excitement of getting to hang out with my sister without a hundred children, but we thought "What the heck. Let's go for it!"
So Brynn has lovingly agreed to send out 10 FREE RECIPE CARDS to every new Cooking Community member in the month of July. Physically. Shipped. To your doorstep. EVERY. NEW. MEMBER.
God bless the woman. This is no small task.
Some of our Cooking Community members are physical members: this just means they get their recipes cards delieverd to their mailboxes. They also get the hour-long instructional cooking video to go along with the recipes each month, and access to the private online community. Oh - and access to the hour-long Q&A member call we do each month.
Some of our Cooking Community members are digital members: this just means they get their recipes delievered to their email instead of their mailbox. All of the other perks of being a Cooking Community member are the same.
All you need to do is figure out what Cooking Community membership is right for you and make sure you put your shipping address in as prompted when you sign up (even if you're signing up as a digital member - we will need the shipping address for the free recipe cards).
That's it. Each Friday, she'll gather up all the new member information, and ship a packet of cards right to you.
I hope this gives you a bit of an insight into what we do in our Cooking Community and gives you a bolt of inspiration in your summer kitchen!
Okay, that's all.
I just wanted you to know.
So very grateful we get to share our work in the kitchen with all of you for a living. The blessing is not lost on me.
Let's get cooking!
Cheers,
Shaye
PS: Because of current shipping issues worldwide, this offer is only valid for US residents. We have Cooking Community members from around the world (and love them all!) but they are digital members as we are not able to reliably ship them recipes each month.
How fun! I wish I had more bandwidth right now because your cooking community is totally on my bucket list. Some day when I can hand off more things and make room for it! I feel for ya on the shipping. The mail dictates our days so that we can get orders out in a timely manner! Lots and lots of shipping things. How big is your office? We are looking for one off the farm as our little space isn’t big enough any more.
